Summer time.
"Ah~!"
Yes, summer time. The hot seasons of japan were always something compared to the wintery times that follow, but this particular one was definitely hotter than the usual. The sounds of cicadas were quite powerful, but that was no surprise to one taking to note the tree right next to the orange camping tent on the green grass. It was so hot as even their sounds sounded a little like exhausted panting. It was so hot that around the sun in the skies - which was that much bright as it is - no clouds were present at all. Exaggeratedly, you could nearly see the rays of the sun slowly dehydrating the liquids from the poor plants exposed to it. To klutz like Joe, these days were a little more than just 'stressing'.
"My fever's already 99 F!! And it's been only a day since I got here! I knew waiting for Mimi wasn't a good idea, she always misses on time! We even agreed to wake up at the same hour, but she's probably still in her beauty sleep! I must have been bitten by a bug or some- Ack!!"
As he reorganized his things in panic in an uncomfortable pose thanks to the small tent's space, Joe expressed his frustration by talking to himself all scattered all over his personal zone. Just as usual, he didn't actually commit any deeds to ease it up, just simply accepted the duty on himself and tried not making a bigger mess out of his things. Until he fell right out of the tent door, on his chin from knee weight directly on the green grass.
Well, at least it wasn't as hot as inside, but the kid already understood this was going to be a long camp.

Post by Tomonari Cahal on Feb 22, 2012 22:18:13 GMT 1
".......uuuh...", was the first thing that came out of his mouth as his eyes slowly opened. Strangely, he had a good night's rest, which was a break from his usual, paranoid self. Not that it would stay that way for too long. Nonetheless, Tomonari picked himself up, and placed himself in a sitting position. The boy looked around and blinked, eventually reaching for his glasses. He of course, put them on his face, and blinked a few more times in order to get a good view on the inside of his tent. Honestly, there wasn't much to say about it, other than the fact that it was a small tent. He wasn't about to complain about it, as he adjusted himself to organize everything within it.
Now the problem arised when Tomonari realized that it was pretty hot today. Granted, it was summer up here in Japan, but at this time of year it was winter down in Australia. This was a bad thing considered the boy didn't pack too many shorts and t-shirts. His liking for more conservative clothing was his downfall at this point. Blinking once more, the boy realized that he was also sweating pretty heavily. Tomonari's face dropped in sheer and utter panic as he felt nearly his entire body was wet. Quickly taking the cover off of his sleeping bag, he sighed in relief when he found out: he hadn't missed the bathroom, therefore would have wet himself without the sweat. The boy sighed again though, this time in worry. However, he merely just gout out of bed, and packed whatever he needed to go outside.
It wasn't until he got outside of his green tent that the heat had more of an impact on him. Quickly taking out a bottle of water from his satchel, the boy began to drink it hastily. Granted, it was probably better to conserve his water, but Tomonari wasn't thinking too rationally right now. He then heard some commotion going on in the next next to him. Another boy had fallen out of his tent, which made Tomonari jump in surprise. Thankfully he didn't choke on the water that was in his mouth, although he had a difficult time swallowing his water. Sighing in relief again, Tomonari turned his attention back to the other boy. Quite hesitant to do so, he took a few steps over to the fallen boy, "U-U-Um... e-eeer... a-are you o-okay?"

Kai Starshine groaned as he rolled over in his sleep. His two tent mates were sprawled out on their mattresses and sleeping bags. The bright sunlight made the tent bright, which caused the disabled kid to slowly wake up. He blinked a few times and then sighed, looking at the top of the tent and then to his tent mates. He had bonded with them and was now friends with both of them. He’d only ever had two friends in his whole life: Sora and Joe. Now he was at camp, though, Kai had met several more people, such as Luisa Cerventes and had got himself reacquainted with old acquaintances, such as Matt Ishida. He smiled at the thought of possibly gaining more friends.
Once his two tent mates had woken up, the three of them got dressed in t-shirts and jeans and headed over to the shower and toilet building, with Kai being pushed in his manual wheelchair. The three new friends brushed their teeth and freshened up before heading back to their tent. “Hey Kai, if me and Tenshu go off, will you be ok by yourself?” asked one tent mate. “Sure! My carer will be here soon, anyway. You two have fun!” said Kai, who smiled. Kai had managed to get out of his manual wheelchair, put a blanket out in front of the tent and get a book. The black-haired kid made himself comfortable by lying down on the blanket but before he could properly get enthralled by the book, his carer came to make sure he was ok. “Hey Kai, I see you’re up and dressed. Did Tenshu and Migato help you? Oh, good! Well, I’ll come back in a bit to make sure you’re ok.”
Finally, he was alone, free to enjoy the book he was reading. However, once again, he was interrupted by a hurtling soccer ball. Kai screamed as the ball smacked his face and caused his book to go flying. A group of boys came over and were shocked so profusely apologised. However, Kai could only give them a dazed stare.
